If you could describe your art in 5 words, what would they be?
Simple, popular, conscious, coloured, progressive

Your work is very original, but who would you say are your main influences?
We work by letting an idea flow its course. It’s like a drop of water that trickles down a window and doesn’t follow a set path, but forks out or separates in two. The first drop of an idea is always enriched by the things we see or hear and definitively by hip hop, nature, the ocean, contemporary arts, our sons and everyday life.

Is anyone in your family an artist?
(Francois) Personally, not when i was younger but now my father is retired and paints all day long!

Is there a story behind your becoming an artist?
(Francois) First I was a journalist, then i became a graphic designer and now… I don’t think I’m an artist. I just don’t give a damn about what people are going to think/say about my work. I feel free to create mixed medias pieces, drawings, paintings, photographs, graphic design etc.!

Which public icon would you be most psyched to see wearing your shirt?
Madonna and Hayao Miyazaki.
